Connections Matter Training of Trainers (2-Day, one in-person, one virtual)
The Connections Matter Georgia Initiative is a collaboration between the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy and Prevent Child Abuse Georgia focused on effectively educating communities about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, and resiliency. The Connections Matter Workshop is an interactive discussion-based program. This Training of Trainers is a 2-day hybrid in-person/virtual training to train accepted applicants to deliver the Connections Matter Georgia training. The TOT will include a review of course content, interactive breakouts and activities, teach-back practice with feedback, virtual adaptations, manual overview, and review of website and marketing materials.
Note: Participation and verification in a Connections Matter Georgia workshop is a prerequisite. If you haven't taken the training yet or need a refresher, please register for a Connections Matter Georgia workshop that will take place before June 21, 2021. The dates and times for these trainings are on the Attend a Prevention Training tab on your left.
When:
This is a 2-day hybrid in-person/virtual training:
- Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 8:30am to 5:00pm in-person in Atlanta
- Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:30pm via Zoom
