What You Can Do

GAgives on Giving Tuesday

They say it takes a village to raise a child.

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is here to support children who have been harmed to find wellness on their Healing Journey. This path is rarely straightforward and requires the resources and resourcefulness of parents, caregivers, legal aid, therapists, translators, educators, and whole communities.

You have the opportunity to be a part of this journey and to join our community. Every donation matters- whether large or small, recurring or one-time. You can make a difference to a child by providing comfort in a time of fear (therapy bear or blanket), hope when the future seems dim (therapy and family supports), and celebration of progress (sponsor a graduation).

There is never a better time than now.

$50 helps to fund Caregiver and Parent Education, to help create open communication and a feeling of safety for children to disclose abuse

$100 sponsors a child's Graduation Party to recognize all of the hard work they have done to heal

$150 helps to sponsor a Caregiver Event where families come together to bond and build trust

$250 sponsors one session of specialized trauma-informed Therapy (and while a child will need more than one session, many hands make light work!)

$500 delivers Crisis Intervention Services to help identify any concerns for a child's safety and stability after abuse and to reduce further trauma
