Child Sexual Abuse Prevention: Empowerment Through Education

Monday, April 29th, 2024 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Virtually via Zoom

Talking about child sexual abuse is not easy – even for professionals. However, we must talk about and learn the necessary steps that we need to take to develop our skills in keeping children safe. This workshop will help all adults who care for children learn how we can better protect children from sexual abuse through safety steps and prevention tools.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:
-Define the scope and impact of sex abuse
-Describe key steps of prevention
-Identify how to recognize signs that a child is experiencing sexual abuse
