Internet Safety

Friday, April 5th, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Virtually via Zoom

Child sexual abuse is an all-too-common, widespread issue. Many victims of child sexual abuse and exploitation live at home and attend school. These children interact with family, educators, youth-serving organizations, professionals, and the community. Therefore, awareness and prevention education are essential to protecting them. Because young people use digital technologies for everyday activities, this presentation will explain why internet safety matters, the risks associated with internet usage and how to teach them to protect themselves while online.
