Parent Cafe Series

Strengthening Families Georgia’s virtual Parent Cafés are an opportunity for parents to come together to talk, to listen, and to support each other through stressors, worries, and challenges that many have struggled with alone.

This series will focus on Five Protective Factors all families can use to build support, networking, and friendships with other parents in a virtual community.To join you must be a parent or caregiver in Georgia, be able to attend all or most of the 5 sessions, and want to interact with other caregivers!

Schedule:
February 22 – Social Connections – Parents need friends
March 28 – Concrete Support in Times of Need – Parents know where to turn for help
April 25 – Knowledge of Child Development – Parents know how kids learn and grow
May 23 – Social-Emotional Competence – Children learn how to handle feelings
June 27 – Parental Resilience – Parents can bounce back

This series will occur on the third Thursday of every month, sessions will be held virtually from 6:00-7:30 pm on Zoom.
