Thank you for your interest in becoming involved with the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy’s Prevention Initiative.
There are many ways to become more involved in protecting children in your community. The first is to become educated about the facts of child maltreatment, sexual abuse, adverse childhood experiences, and human trafficking. Learning how to identify warning signs that a child is at risk for abuse or being abused and what to do about it can help to prevent many types of abuse, not only the one you might be seeing.
