Access 5 videos developed by the National Center on Child Trafficking that use a science-driven approach to guide the development, adaptation, implementation and evaluation of trauma-informed interventions and resources addressing sex and labor trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation to improve the lives of impacted children and families and support the professionals who serve them.

Adverse Childhood Experiences 101

The ACEs 101 presentation provides an overview of both ACEs and PCEs (Positive Childhood Experiences). This training also highlights the impact of ACEs in Georgia and ways to take action in mitigating ACEs while increasing PCEs.

Child Protective Policy Best Practices

Based on the information included in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Guide Preventing Child Sexual Abuse Within Youth-Serving Organizations, North Carolina’s Positive Childhood Alliance developed a Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Policy online toolkit to help organizations create or strengthen their internal child safeguarding policies.

They have graciously allowed the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy to bring you this information as a partner organization.

A Guide for Schools and Organizations on Educating Youth in Protective Practices

In 2017 Georgia’s Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force, led by the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, published the first edition of the Technical Assistance Resource Guide (TARG) on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention guiding schools and organizations on educating youth.

This presentation will help you become familiar with and navigate the various trainings that are listed in the TARG.
