A pilot program to test a newly developed prevention training for adults and organizations, Connect to Protect Kids.

Connect to Protect Kids was developed by Childhelp, a national nonprofit organization and is being piloted in partnership with local community organizations across the U.S., including the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. You can learn more at www.childhelp.org/prevention.

Training Overview:

This training is designed for adults who want to protect children and prevent child sexual abuse and other forms of interpersonal harm. It is delivered by trained facilitators and equips participants with clear, actionable strategies, including:

Risk reduction strategies
Preventing perpetration
Fostering healthy relationships and protective factors
Teaching bystander intervention
Building connected, protective communities that prioritize child safety

WHEN: Monday June 29, 2026 from 1:00pm- 4:00pm
WHERE: via Zoom (The Zoom link will be sent out prior to the training. If you have not received the link 24 hours before, please reach out to us.)
COST: FREE- Pilot Training (Participants will be required to do a pre- and post- evaluation of the training.)
