er for Child Advocacy presents Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children\,
child abuse prevention training.\n\nTarget Audience:\nSte
wards of Children is for any responsible adult who cares about the protect
ion of children\, whether a parent or professional. It is also used for in
dividuals and organizations who seek training for staff and volunteers in
the prevention of child sexual abuse\, and to enhance their child protecti
on policies and procedures.\n \nStewards of Children is a 2.5 hour prevent
ion training program that teaches adults how to prevent\, recognize and re
act responsibly to child sexual abuse. It is the only nationally distribut
ed\, evidence-based program proven to increase knowledge\, improve attitud
es and change child protection behaviors. \n\nTopics covered inclu
de:\n-Facts about the problem of child sexual abuse\n-Types of si
tuations in which child sexual abuse might occur\n-Simple and effective st
rategies for protecting children from sexual abuse\n-The importance of tal
king about the prevention of sexual abuse with children and other adults\n
-Signs of sexual abuse so that you might intervene and be able to react re
sponsibly\n\nCost:\n$15.00\, but during April in honor of
Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month...training is FREE! \n\nRegist

ideo conference instructions will be emailed to you. A follow-up survey wi
ll be sent via email immediately following the training. In order to recei
ve a certificate of completion\, participants must complete the initial fo

, so please be aware that if there is low registration\, this training may
